    Scoop?

    Just found this on Naturescapes:

    http://blog.apertureacademy.com/2012...prototype.html

Zoom in by clicking on the images - Canon users will be interested. Seems to be two new bodies and two new lenses. Opinions are that the bodies are the new 1DX and the 5DIII. And the lenses are new too.

Hi Glenn, nice looking lenses aren't they, big dollars in those I would think. I have a 7D, one of the backs of the camera looks very very similar. Wouldn't be a bad job, lens camera tester

If that is genuine (just call me an old sceptic) the poor guy has probably been sacked by now for letting someone get close enough to him to ask questions and take photographs of equipment not yet released.

A link to the site with a link to one of the photos - I DL'd it - the image is a Canon CR2 file. Hard to fake a CR2 file.

I wouldn't be so sure - they're based on a *.TIF file structure I believe. Mind you, the 200-400 has already been announced, so no big secret there - not sure about an EF600 II

    It's not a fake.
It is all over the internet.
    It must be true.

    I ain't saying it's true.

    I ain't saying it ain't true.

But if it is, it would be the biggest NDA stuff-up since Gary Fong was accidentally sent two 1D prototypes, and then sold one on eBay!
