That's all I could think of Bobo but it just seems to be in the wrong spot ie it seems to be in front of the clouds. Anyway it's a great capture. Originally Posted by Bobobird

Hehe.
This is what they call zoom compression or something like that but not really conversant with that - will try to find out more. Focus was on the tree at 300mm.
The same sort of response once for a daytime moon shot which seemed to have the clouds behind the moon.Last edited by Bobobird; 24th January 2012 at 02:03 AM.

Probably #1 is fav because more of interest; lights, foreground, tree, clouds, blue sky, etc.

Number 2 with the sunset is amazing! I was trying to capture something similar last week but too, but too many buildings in the way and a cranky 6 year old in the backseat of the car!

#2 is not all that difficult but NEVER look into the sun even the sunglasses. Buildings can provide some really good foregrounds.
Thanks Anne - glad you like them. I am happy to have got them as a great sunset has not been all that common these days.
