    A couple from yesterday.

May not look it but it was FREEZING...

    C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Good stuff Bobo, love that first one in particular. It's a beautiful shot.

You've got me puzzled with the second shot but others may have the answer ?

That's all I could think of Bobo but it just seems to be in the wrong spot ie it seems to be in front of the clouds. Anyway it's a great capture.

    Dave

PS Just realised, maybe it's because you are a lot further away from the equator than us.

    Hehe.

This is what they call zoom compression or something like that but not really conversant with that - will try to find out more. Focus was on the tree at 300mm.

The same sort of response once for a daytime moon shot which seemed to have the clouds behind the moon.

Dang, now I see it like that too

Looked alright before you said Dave

Actually, I prefer the other two anyway Bobo

Probably #1 is fav because more of interest; lights, foreground, tree, clouds, blue sky, etc.

    Cheers,

Number 2 with the sunset is amazing! I was trying to capture something similar last week but too, but too many buildings in the way and a cranky 6 year old in the backseat of the car!

Thanks Dave, always a tough guy to please.

    Thanks Allison.
#2 is not all that difficult but NEVER look into the sun even the sunglasses. Buildings can provide some really good foregrounds.

Thanks Anne - glad you like them. I am happy to have got them as a great sunset has not been all that common these days.
