    Gemsbok

Is the foreground too much in the way?
I sat for ages waiting for the Gemsbok to finally come to the water to drink at a waterhole in the Khutse Game Reserve in Botswana. Due to the open area it was difficult to conceal the vehicle from a wary animal but eventaully patience paid off and he came to drink.

    Gemsbok

    C&C welcome.

My first reaction is to say yes - the foreground is a distraction - but I think it's because it appears that much brighter than your subject. If you can darken the foreground or brighten your subject I think it will work fine.

    Nice capture though!

There is room for a slight crop of the bottom, Clive.

I would try to leave the head reflection just clear of the edge.
