Had to take some images this evening as it was one of the best evening skyes that I have seen in quite sometime. What is it they say about red sky at night we it was a delight.

I was just wondering, Allan, about a very slight crop to remove a little from the bottom and left side to reduce the dark tree area just a tad, which would concentrate more on the excellent sky.

Lovely shot Allan. I agree with Geoff, I think it would benefit from cropping off a bit of the bottom of the image in particular. Also I think a bit more sharpening could be applied, maybe just to the image downsized for posting.

I agree with both of you, I was more focused on getting the sky just right I did not look at the overal image. In the future I will try to step back and look at the overal image. Thanks again

Often, Allan, I prefer to shoot a little wide then do the final crop at home when I can see the result on my screen and have a bit of thinking time.
