Still playing with the focus stacking thingy. I've noticed that I need to make sure that the focusing steps don't exceed the DoF or you get a miss as you can see if you look closely at this one.
Still learning, but next time I'll verify the DoF before I set the focus points!

Funny you mention focus stacking. I have found some interesting fungi on trees but could never get the composition or focal point to work to my satisfaction. Fungus seemed more interesting to the eye than anything I could come up with through the lens. My best effort was a focus stack and while the fungus came out pretty good the overall composition was still lacking. I like your effort here however.
