    There's just nothing to set your eye to without it wandering off in search of what it thinks should be there. I think this is one of those scenes where it really looked good in the viewfinder but didn't translate to the page.

    Very interesting tree Peter; it's tough to get comfortable looking a shot where the subject intersects the rim of the frame so many times; for me it actually creates blocks of negative space that pop in and out of focus. Maybe if you pick a feature and move in close. DOF is working against you a bit as well (the closest branch in this case).

    Pretty area, look forward to seeing more of it...
