    D90 battery/vertical grip.

After waiting 6 weeks for stock to arrive in Australia I finally got an MB-D80 battery grip for my D90. This should relieve some of the strain on my wrist for those multiple portrait shots I do.

This unit fits well and is very comfortable to use. One thing I did notice was the improved grip even in landscape mode, my pinky finger can grip now instead of floating in the breeze.

Ouch, 6 weeks, I'm expecting the mailman to come bearing gifts by the end of this week and I'm already getting jittery!

What kind of portraits do you do?

In another post I explained that I do about 300shots/hour in portrait mode for netball action.

    Netball

Nikon Australia haven't had stock of the MB-D80 for the past 2 months and still won't for another 2-3 weeks. My supplier managed to hunt around and borrow one from someone else's stock.
