I took this image some time ago & reprocessed it to see if I could make a few improvements. It's of a sunset taken at Villenueve in Queensland.

Love it Edwin. For me The dead trees and reflections take it up a step from being just another sunset

The location should look familiar to you Dave, as you won last months comp with an image taken near here. Villenueve is just up the highway from where I live. It's a great place to take photo's even on a misty morning.

Your are fortunate to live so close to that area, it does have some good photo oportunities. And it's so peaceful there early in the morning.

Stunning shots-especially the second one. Just one thought-I think I'd have taken out that stick in the foreground of the second photo.- the eye goes to it and cloned out rather than cropped as the green foliage is important or the foreground would be somewhat barren.

I've done as you suggested John & cloned out the stick. I hope you like this one better than the last?
