Love it... Great shot. That eye peeking over the back is intriguing. Because of the intensity of the eye I think the tight crop works. the texture and contrast are good and I like the softness of the water.
Some people might miss seeing the beak of the duck but I think the image still works - thanks for sharing.

An amazing shot Steve! I agree with Reynold about that peeking eye being intriguing. Sharp image, love it.
