Perth45, I would suggest that the problem lies with either your equipment or that of your ISP. I am in Australia and have instant access to the site.

This has caught me a bit by surprise too, so I did a few tests ...

- Time to load main forums page www.cambridgeincolour.com/forums, around 4 seconds.

- Time to load Latest Threads page, under 2 seconds.

Almost too fast to time. It takes longer for me to move the mouse and to click on Threads.
Have you considered time of day? The Anzac gang and the West Canadian are probably accessing off peak UK hours?

I've frequently been on at all sorts of odd hours - can't say I've ever seen any real change - only speed issues I've noticed is when a thread has a lot of inline images and some of the host sites are a bit slow.

Only little niggle I've found is when a thread contains a lot of big images. But that's nothing to do with the site. I've always found everything very fast.

Yes, I don't have any problems either. Even with outdated underpowered equipment and using Opera as a browser, which can suffer from rejection problems on some sites.

I don't know that much about internet technical stuff but just wonder if it might be some sort of Cookies clash. I regularly have a clear out to ditch everything and start again.

Only a slight puzzlement and not on speed which is fine (especially compared to pbase)

Just that Safari won't remember my log in as it does most other regular sites - could be safari, or is there a Vbulletin setting awry? No nasturtiums being cast, they aren't out yet, but a good challenge when they come

I don;t have any problems either, and I am on the West Coast of Canada
