    dittero with bokeh

    hi to all.
    The last summer i have taken some shoots of insects or flowers...i have searched to take the photos with a particular bokeh in the background, this is one example....
    your opinions?

    It is a matter of taste I suppose, but I would prefer to just see the excellent photo of a Sphaerophoria hoverfly

    I find that background interesting, Papo. Sort of like the story goes on, I want to see more.

    oh, well....now i know the name of this insect....thanks

    But that second one, Angelo, is a different species. Look carefully at the black bands on it's abdomen. This one has combined black and whitish bands. Still a hoverfly though.

    It looks a bit like Episyrphus balteatus to me, but there are a few European species which we don't get in the UK.

    And a good crisp shot.
