Rainbow takeoff

I got up at 4am this morning to catch the sunrise and went to our local airport to catch the Boeing 787 coming in for the first time. I was able to take a few pics of the most amazing dawn. The whole sky was a wonderful orange colour in the east and in the west there was this amazing rainbow. I didn't have a lot of time but I think it came out ok. I often find early morning photography really rewarding.

It did. Looks great when viewed larger in the lightbox (they all do).

And I agree with you about the 4/5 am stuff. It's just wonderful being out then.

Hi Mark, when you click on a posted image, it opens in its own window called a lightbox.

Depending upon the size of the original image posting, it often give you a larger and better view.
