Two bracketed close-ups of a cream-coloured old Beetle, cropped a bit and resized. Theme lends itself to B&W. Tonal range, especially in the brighter version, is already stretched to both sides of the histogram, so I doubt contrast could be improved without losing some details. Corrections, suggestions etc. are welcome!

Hi Steve,
I prefer the exposure on the first shot here.
The second is a bit like over exposed skin tones, even without clipping, it is just 'too much'.
For me, a little too tightly cropped; I'd leave a tad more on the right.
