    just out for a walk

    Hi all
    Well i took a day off work today and took the dog for a walk (wasn't impressed)took the camera along and took quite a few pictures, over the next few days i will share them with you if you don't mind, C+C welcome on all my pictures as usual,
    here's the first one,
    done a little PP on it, tried not to go to severe this time

    Pretty scene for sure.
    I dont know if it is the perspectives but looks a bit tilted.

    Did you use a polarizing filter?

    It looks rather dark on my calibrated monitor. Not sure how everyone else sees it. I did an edit, if that's OK to increase exposure and applied some fill light in RAW. As for the composition: I think it could do with some more foreground interest. It seems to lack 'locus focus' as I like to call it - where do my eyes go first?

    James, I agree with Rob on this - in fact I think it could be brightened a bit more. Also to me it seems to have a magenta tint.

    Hi John

    No polarizing filter was not used, however i did have a grey grad filter on which i tend to leave on just to protect the lens
