I really like this shot. Normally, I would say the horizon should be level but not in this case. I assume the woman in the background in Mom. There is sort of a "V" created between the two as child frolics away and Mom leans the other way giving child enough room to roam but not enough to get to far. The focus is solid and her curls in the wind add some motion to the shot. I'd say this is a keeper. My only thought would be to remove the tick of vingetting at the upper left and bottom corners. My 2 cents....
Hi Robert, that's a really nice image. Scott already mentioned some points and I will agree with him.
Well done!
Thank you very much for the comments and suggestions Scott, Giannis. Scott, that's correct, Mom is in the background and is enjoying the scene.
Post processing is still coming to me, I'm looking forward to more practice so making corrections like that (removing vignette) will go unnoticed.
Thanks again for the help!
Hi Robert,
a really compelling shot and a powerful composition!
You showed in a perfect way for what wide angle is good for!
The vingetting - penatus, it's only one click to remove, if you don't like them :)
Thanks Marcus, appreciate the feedback. I do like that pancake lens, it's fun. Toyed around with the 'devinegette' function in Aperature 3.0 but no joy. It's grown on me, think I'll leave this one as it is...
