Sufficient Privileges

I love the site and have found it at a pivotal point. I am truly sorry to hear about shreds (the Farewell & Good Luck thread).

I do have a question: what privileges and other things will I have access to, with how many post? I was looking in FAQ but did not find an answer specifically about this.

I'm not sure I entirely understand the question, so forgive me if this doesn't answer what you've asked.

I don't think there's a limit on say the number of posts you can make and once you've posted, if you spot a typo, you can go back and edit it yourself. You can attach pictures, but there is a max storage limit, as explained on the page when you do this. Better still is hosting your pics elsewhere; e.g. photobucket, flickr or PBase to give just 3 popular examples and then placing the image inline - theres a 'sticky' post at the top of this forum on how to do it.

There are some odd little things which are there to stop robots and spammers flooding the forums, but you'll rarely find them an issue, for example you can't submit two posts in quick succession, or have a post with minimal characters.

Certain things can only be done after a certain number of posts, I don't know chapter and verse on these, all I know is they're unlikely to be a problem, so my advice is try it.

In terms of adding another post to your total, could you drop by the Introduce Yourself & Welcome Other Members (2) and tell us a bit more about yourself please? (Where you are, what kit you have, your experience and the sort of photography you do or want to do - Thanks)
