Squirrels

I went to Greenwich Park (London) yesterday. Lots of squirrels about, plenty of nuts about for them.

I have owned my dslr for 2 months now, so very much a newbie to dslr. I had a bridge camera (Lumix FZ38 for a few years before).

Loads to learn.

Love your squirrel pictures. This squirrel has been feeding in my parents' backyard for over 15 years. He comes at the same time every morning, afternoon and evening. I even have a photo (not a real good one though) of him stealing from the bird feeder. Hope I'm not intruding by posting this photo here.

Stretched all the way out - opened the suet and took the bread. Clever little rascal don't ya think!

Hi Samantha, the pose and cropping is great! Although it is sometimes difficult as these creatures dart about, the capture could be better if the focus point was on the eyes.

Yes, and you will note that the quote will be in a box if what is selected starts [QUOTE ] and ends with [/QUOTE ] (without the space before the ']'). So if the image (IMG and /IMG in brackets) is between the two 'quotes' it will be included as well.

Hi. I'm no expert, but what I try and to (with a face on shot) is get the face in focus and use a fast shutter speed. Take your time when aiming and slowly press the button. Practice practice and practice some more
It's coming to the right time of year so there will be lots of them about now. If you know of a park where there is lots that would be ideal.
