    I like the shot and the textures.....I see the vines and the dark area framing the door. Could be the dark is a little to dark and ones looses some detail. I found the doors in the French towns and villages very small, is looks the same here.

    I heard once that 20% of the population doesn't see in colour. Don't know if it's true or not. Perhaps 20% of the population doesn't dream in colour. Now that sounds more plausible.

    ... and some of us are so old we don't understand colour. It's all black and white to us.

    Interesting image - I like it. Textures in the old door and stone walls are great - add so much interest to the image. Did you do any close ups?

    Sadly not. This was just a grab shot as we were walking back to the car, with pressure on to complete the last 150 miles.
