The Morning Dew bug

Hey ya chaps, did a lil series this morning with a lil beatle fighting his way around a lil morning dew

more than happy for critque etc







I think he was working up quite the sweat, he needed to stop and have a drink

Is that the actual colour of the beetle? That's insane if it is!

I love the way you can see you, your camera and tripod in the reflection on his back on the first image! At least I think that's what the reflection is. Although that is probably against all rules of macro photography - an area of photography I have not dabbled in... ...yet!

Good stuff Ric... I think #3 is probably my favourite

Thanks Tommy, Yes I think having your reflection in Macro is a big no no, but I was trying to add a little flair to the photos,

the beatle was infact the petrol like metalic colour, tiny wee fellow. but it was nice to follow him around first thing in the morning while the Tea was brewing
