    Moon Lit Skies

Tonight I was taking some photos of the moon shortly after sunset. When I was doing some adjustments afterwards, I found myself thinking, these are the types of photos only a photo geek could appreciate! What do you think?

Perhaps a square crop would work better here - not sure this crop is working.

This one may be too ... simple? Though I do like it

    Hello Brian,

The second photo is much better. Also, I am interested in taking photo for the moon. Indeed, you need a zoom lens with relatively long focal length (at least 200 or 250 mm) to get some details. The setting (shutter 1/100 or 1/125 , aperture of f9 ~ f11 and ISO 100 or 200) will give you good results.

    Good Luck

So call me a photo geek because I do like #1 with all its drama. You even managed to catch a few stars. I'm surprised they showed up at all.
