    Spot Metering Article Question

    Hello,

    I am wondering if the underexposed photo of the Dalmatian is the better shot than the high key photo of the two examples given in the following article:

    I am learning spot metering and it seems that the underexposed photo would be the better choice to me.

    Welcome to CiC - it's great to have you with us.

    I'm not quite sure what you mean by "better" shot; are you meaning "better" from a technical perspective, or "better" as in it "looks better"?
