    Porthcurno to Logan's Rock

A panorama of the beaches of South West Cornwall from Porthcurno Beach across to the headland of Logan's Rock.

A panorama of four images stitched together by Panorama Factory. The sun did not play ball so Logan's Rock was in shade. I have tried to "brighten" it up but not at all sure I have totally succeeded. Best viewed at larger size.

    Chris

I like the sweep. It provides a nice line through the picture. I'm not so fussed about the rock in the distance being in shade (you've probably done a good job on bringing it up quite a bit).

What distracts me more is the very near foreground over at the left, being in shade. How would it work if you got the dodging brush on the grass and lifted it up in the same way?

It works for me Donald. It lifts the whole scene. Thanks for the tip.

I love panoramas, and I like this a lot. I bet it looks pretty spectacular at full size!

    Good stuff

    Hi Chris,

I clicked on it to view it at a larger size, but it's not displaying any bigger. I'm not sure if TinyPIC has any dimensional limitations (I host from PBase), but I'd encourage you to make the long dimension in the order of 1500px if you wish (that's what I do anyway).

A beautiful panorama, Christopher! The lightened version really shines and I love the way the clouds are reflected in the sea. It ties the entire Pano together nicely!

I get the feeling that the horizon is tipped a little to the right but that may be an optical illusion caused by the gentle curve of the landscape that shows more sky height on the right.

That's better. We can really see it now... and it's still good.

I will like to see peoples faces; I'm not joking, don't see the point of a panorama unless you can zoom in and have closer look. Apart from that, it is beautiful.
