Thanks Michael.
James - great little thing that T2i.
Re: The queen commands...
Awesome shots Bobo..I love #'s 2 and 3. In #3 it looks as if he's just reaching out
his ..umm...."arm part"..to make a gentle landing on the flower..http://backup.cambridgeincolour.com/...espect-062.gif
When I saw the title of this thread, I thought for a moment that my wife had joined the
site.....

Thanks Mike. That 3 was a lucky shot. Hard enough chasing them around and keepng focus. Saw that and the hanging flower in 1 when reviewing the series back home.
All wives are like queens so not to worry. Queens order, drones obey. Simple!

They're all incredible shots, and you must have been jazzed when you found that one after you got home. BTW, all too often when I tell someone they are good at their chosen endeavor, they often respond with " I got lucky". Truth be told, luck IS good..

This I know all too well!! [image deleted in order to preserve the peace...]
Actually, I've had 4 wives total in 30 years time, and the current is the Queen I was looking
for in the other 3 (before they traded me in for newer models....lol).
I consider her a Queen because she treats me like a King..(and vice-versa)
Re: The queen commands...
Oh, believe me - as soon as I saw those 2 the first reaction was to call the queen over and ask her for c&c. She said good. Had no choice then but to pp and put up.
Our lady members may not outwardly agree on the grovelling bit (but do!).

I [had] pulled the image as it may not have been considered (or understood) by all, and I certainly
don't want to offend any of the lady members. Ya gotta admit...it's funny.. :D
Those bees are fantastic, so she was 100% correct in her assessment. You would have pp'd
them and posted anyway....right?
Re: The queen commands...
Oh, I don't know.....I'm no lady, never wanted to be a Queen, and I married my ex for something entirely different than money, so our marriage was more like this......at least, at first :)

Very nice bees, by the way. Especially the ones in flight, and the one with a single leg touching the flower is a shot to treasure :)

Thanks Seri. Your sign is awesome.
Mike, leaving the signs in is nice - makes the thread a bit more interesting.
Question - where did you find these ?

Happy to leave them in, just didn't want to offend anyone ....:D
Been collecting odd little images like that since about 1998, and have a decent number of them that are often used when the forum(s) supplied images can't quite express the emotion I wish to convey.
You can actually Google up a number of sites that are filled with all kinds of little images and "smiley's", and while I do like to use them, care has to be taken so they don't become obnoxious or detract from the desired ambiance of a forum.
Re: The queen commands...
Yes used to do that in the early days of the internet, looking for icons and smileys. Never collected any but was fun at the time.
Re: The queen commands...
I think they are all very good too Bobo. However, I will dissent from the others and say that I think the first one is the best! I like the sharpness and detail of everything in the foreground.
Re: The queen commands...
I'm a collector like Mike. I moved my social life to cyberspace many years ago and whenever I'm browsing and find an image or quote that moves me or makes me smile I keep it until something said in an email conversation with a friend or a post on a forum reminds me to use it.
With email friends censorship is never necessary, but again, like Mike, on public forums I try not to 'frighten the horses' so to speak, as I never wish to offend :)
As for the toilet signs in particular, quite a few can be found by Googling '"toilet signs" funny'. Some very bizarre results turn up, not only in altered images, but also quite a few actual signs from around the world showing truly creative ways of distinguishing between the sexes :D
Cheers,
Seri
