    Burrowing Owl Portrait

Found this handsome fellow last week. The background grasses were about 30-40 yards behind this beauty.

    Dave,

I'm jealous too. That is a beautiful shot and one I would put up on my wall any day. I have dining room with a few sculptured owls done by artists and I love them.

    Re: Burrowing Owl Portrait

I love owls and I love this shot.

The reason I love owls is that I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan (soccer to you yanks! ) and their nickname is 'The Owls'!

Just to see that beautiful bird in the flesh (or feathers) must have been a treat. To have captured it so magnificently is just... ...well to quote a couple of others who've gone before me... I'm jealous!!

    Big thumbs up!
