Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Leaf on a wet road...

One of the few wet leaves I saw on the road after the rain we had yesterday. Thank you very much for viewing.

Oh, my goodness! Are we here, already? It's been raining nonstop for twenty four hours and I've been shivering in my sweater all day long - autumn!eek: Well, for us, here, in VT, anyway. What's it doing down your way so early?

Lovely, of course, Willie! It looks awfully clear, wonderful but subtle colors and textures. There are a million variations on this theme (and I love them all). I haven't seen this one, though.

Good on you to have lots of rain out there. Here in our side of Texas we'd be very happy to have one whole day of rain! I found this leaf on the canal in front of the house. I tried to lessen the reflection on the water by changing the camera's angle. If I did not do that, the stones below the water level can't be seen clearly.

    Subtle and very nice.

If you want rain, come to Holland, we've got a lot of it

Willie, great detail on the photo. I wonder if a tighter crop on the leaf would be more interesting? The background isn't really negative nor compelling?

That's a good idea, Brian. I did try that this morning and on a personal taste I did not like it. The reason why is that a too tight crop would just leave the leaf and nothing else. I could still probably compromise a 7% reduction on the left and top part of the frame.

Lol no compromises necessary Jiro! You are a much better photographer than I.
