Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Dry leaf.

A test shot of a dried leaf using a 50mm lens on a PK-13 extension ring. 4 images focus stacked using Photoshop CS5. Thank you very much for viewing.

Hi Willie! Nice detail in a rendering that I normally don't see. Every time I see a macro image I am amazed at what is right under our noses but we never notice. It looks like you are discovering a whole new Macro and Focus Stacking world without having to go out with your camera in the summer heat. If you didn't see the macro focusing rail links I sent to Rob, here is a copy in case you are interested.

Thanks, Frank. The CD drive mechanism seems to be doable. I hope I can find one on a yard sale to cannibalize and modify soon.

I like it, but I'm not sure whether you can see a slight halo around the leaf or not... can you see that?

Tommy, I think the slight halo that you noticed came from the additional lighting layer that i added on the image. I'll try to do an edit later. Thanks.
