Last Shuttle Launch

Hey everyone,

These aren't very spectacular photos, it was very hazy, and I was farther away than I remember my viewing spot being (I just walked across A1A, the traffic is insane here); but I had to share these pictures of the last space shuttle launch. I wish it would've been a night launch, but that was not in the cards. The shuttle is the little orange/yellow spot in the pics.

Would have been hard to see anywhere in the state today with all the cloud cover and such.I can usually see it from where i live but nada today.

Still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up at the thought of the shuttle launch after seeing endeavour go up in May.

Such an awesome experience and no photo could ever do it justice.

Is this one of your images, or has this been made by someone else?

Also, I see references to '9 days ago', suggesting this wasn't the shuttle launch that took place yesterday.

ps - And I love all the constructive criticism that is posted below it!

I'm sorry, I should've explained, I did not take that picture. I don't know why they called it last one. Unless that person took it when Endeavor (I think) was supposed to be the last one and Atlantis was added later.
