    Hi David,

    I like the idea and tried something similar myself recently but got it horribly wrong and out of focus.

    The thing that distracts me here is the fish on top running from top centre to bottom right. It draws the eye away from the others and with its tail touching the side of the frame leads me out of the frame and away from the centre of interest. Maybe another set of fish may have been a stronger composition.

    The trouble is that once you start moving the fish around you have to buy them.

    I take it they are herring.

    Revisiting it I feel it lacks sharpness though.
