    Seed ball

This is a seed pod from one of the local native grasses. It was of interest as it is very rare to see one complete as this. They are quite fragile and even the slightest breeze disrupts their structure to disperse the seeds.

Hi Ken, where was this taken?

In my country these are as common as grass.

    Hi Gonzalo
Thanks for viewing. It was taken in Victoria, at Seymour. Yes it is very common grass here as well. However it is rare to see a seed head as a complete open ball.
