Another masterclass in making a B & W image. Superb, Willie.

But it's not just the conversion. The content of the image and the composition of it is excellent. A striking image.

Thank you very much, Donald. I'm still processing some of the images I got from a local car show so stay tuned, there would be more.

To me looks a little oversharped, the rest is ok.

One thing I love about your images, Willie, is that there is so much to see and enjoy in each one. I continue to look and learn, even if I don't always completely understand what I am looking at. Baby steps for me. Just to demonstrate that my sight is improving all the time, though, I will mention that there is little dust speck or something in the upper left corner that you might want to tend to.

    Best,

Gracias, Gonzalo. The only sharpening added to this one was the one in Lightroom 3. I'll adjust the sharpening values and save it as another file later. Thanks!

    Best,
Thanks, Janis. On this one, the inspiration I got was the abstractness of the flowing lines and curves. There was not much to see on the colored version so I opt for a black and white rendition. Usually, I find black and white to be a very good medium when it comes to lines and curves. Sometimes, our shots doesn't have to be dramatic or mind blowing. Even the simple stuff (or the simple ones) can create a strong image if given some chance. Sorry for the speck of dust on that area. I think I forgot to mop it in photoshop.

Thank you very much, Ron. Sorry for the long delay. I had a big problem with my eyesight yesterday afternoon and I got so senstive to strong light that I can't even tolerate looking at the monitor screen so I had no choice but to rest. You can see a new set of processed car images I have under "Golden Roadster" thread. Thanks!

    Hi Willie,

What I was trying to say last night was that your images always bear repeated viewing. Not only do you have the flowing lines and curves going for you here, but the contrast between textured and smooth, shiny and dull, light and dark and I don't know what else. No doubt I will see something more on the next viewing. The point is that there is more than one thing to delight the eye. I could say more, but I'm due at a birthday party, so I'll stop gushing for now.
