Hi Dtw...,
One of my coleagues have a 50-135mm lens from Pentax (K10 owner), and I'm thinking that lens might be usefull for portret/life-style. On the other hand, 70-300 might be more useful for sports. It's up to you what shoots are more apealling to you.
