    Sharing a Crab

A couple of Herring Gulls at the Fish Quay sharing their lunch.

    Sharing a Crab

Canon 70-200 F4 lens. A quick shot without any time for working out the best angles etc, but I just like the look on their faces.

Thanks Geoff for posting. They look as if they are ready to peck the *** out of each other if either one moves. Love the intent looks and poses. Regardless of your protestations of lack of time, your skilled eye and knowledge shows.

They must not like crab legs. Great capture!

I really like how the crab's arms are separated from the body, but still in frame - excellent!

    Thanks for the comments.

Sometimes a dead crab drops out of a store box and the gulls get a good feed. They have become experts at dissecting crabs.

I seem to be struggling here today. First I cannot get my reply to show - then I get 2 identical copies. One of those days I suppose!
