Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    The Bird.

One of the colorful birds that you can encounter when you visit the San Antonio Zoo in Texas. They are housed on a big metal structure covered with screen mesh so they can't escape. There are about 150 of them inside the structure with about 20 varieties and they are very friendly actually. Thank you very much for viewing.

I really like this. I like how you captured the bird on the little branch instead of the bigger one, which ties into the almost coy expression/body language of the bird.

    , Maybe too modest

You know better your gear then I know mine (shame on me), and your experience is visible.

    Cheers,

An excellent job! You have completely concealed the fact that the bird is caged. In most zoo shots the confinement is painfully obvious.

Thank you very much, Frank. Actually they are housed in a very big bird cage, Frank. People can come inside and give these birds a puree drink composed of vitamins and minerals and some fruits. You buy the drinks in small containers and then show them to the birds and they will go near you. Here's my daughter being surrounded by the birds when she showed them the drink. She enjoyed the experience a lot but was also scared that they will bite her hard. Hahaha! Btw, these shots has been processed using the procedure I told you on the tutorial that I made.

A lovely shot of your daughter. I think I'll need to come to San Antonio to help feed the birds while I fill my SD card!

Ah! Birds are very difficult objects to try and capture. Your pictures are always so wonderful. I particularly like this one because of the beautiful colors that follow it. I'm quite afraid of birds, but you've captured such a beautiful one, that I would like to sit by it, myself. Just like people, seeing this bird in its habitat draws a person in :3 Thank you for the picture, it's quite beautiful!

They are both great shots Jiro but I actually prefer the one with your daughter its just full of life. Needless to say when I went to one of those places I got **** on....and not from such a great height. Still it kept the kids amused
